ImpactHumanity Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering families—especially single-parent households—by building partnerships that provide foundational support and create generational impact.

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and mission-driven Volunteer Social Media Manager to help us strengthen our online presence and share the stories, programs, partnerships, and community impact happening through ImpactHumanity.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys social media, storytelling, community engagement, and nonprofit work and wants to use their skills to make a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain a consistent social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor.
• Create engaging posts, captions, graphics, and other social media content.
• Develop a simple monthly content calendar aligned with our programs and organizational goals.
• Highlight ImpactHumanity programs, community events, volunteers, donors, partners, and success stories.
• Help promote fundraising campaigns, volunteer opportunities, events, and community resources.
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement and help build relationships with our online community.
• Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach new audiences, and grow our following.
• Repurpose existing photos, videos, flyers, and program materials into social media content.
• Track basic social media analytics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain a consistent voice and visual identity for ImpactHumanity.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing social media for an organization, business, nonprofit, or personal brand.
• Is creative and enjoys developing content.
• Understands Instagram and Facebook, with knowledge of LinkedIn and other platforms a plus.
• Has strong writing and communication skills.
• Can work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Is organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Cares about community, families, youth, and creating positive social impact.
• Is comfortable using Canva or similar design tools.
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics is a plus, but not required.

Time Commitment

Approximately 2-3 hours per week , with flexibility based on your availability and the organization's needs.

Most work can be completed remotely. Occasional participation at ImpactHumanity events is encouraged but not required.
